Whilst the Innovate UK Materials & Manufacturing – Round 2 competition is now open for applications, the results of Round 1 have been announced with more than 60 projects winning funding to help them investigate revolutionary new ways of making things that will boost UK manufacturing.
Innovate UK has awarded £25 million to a series of projects that will help businesses to develop new manufacturing methods and materials and boost UK productivity. The awards were made to 170 partners across 64 successful projects. All projects will be led by a business and include at least one SME.
